The vision for a ministry like Every Ethne was first planted in Dr. Steve Shadrach's mind and heart during the summer of 1985 when he and his wife were involved in a catalytic training known as the Perspectives on the World Christian Movement course. 

This life-changing experience gave Steve a passion to see college campuses turned into strategic sending bases for the completion of the Great Commission. Over the next twenty years he actively mobilized college students by coordinating Perspectives courses and starting new mission conferences, ministries, and training. 

In 2004, Steve was asked to be the Director of Mobilization for The U.S. Center for World Mission. Among other things, this meant overseeing the growth and global expansion of the Perspectives course. With an insatiable passion for mobilizing college students, Steve began praying for key leaders who could take on the task of reintroducing college students to Perspectives. 

Finally, in the fall of 2007, Every Ethne was launched at the University of Iowa and Oregon State University by two couples God brought to Steve. Today, this  ministry is being used by God to mobilize college students and ministries for His Biblical purpose. We continue to expand, and our hope and prayer is to see Every Ethne working on every major campus in the United States for the glory of God among every ethnic people group!
